Jennifer's French Bread Dip

1 loaf French Bread

2- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese

1- 8 oz. sour cream

1- 8 oz. can green chilies (chopped)

1- 16 oz. pkg. shredded cheddar cheese

 8 oz. chopped ham

Mix ingredients and spread on bread.  Wrap in foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Italian or Polish Sausage

1 can tomatoes 

2 cups diced ham

1/2 cup chopped onion

2 stalks Celery - chopped

1.2 cup diced red pepper

3 cloves garlic chopped

1 tsp. minced parsley

1/2 tsp. thyme

2 cloves

1 tblsp. Old Bay Seasoning

Cook in slow cooker for 8 hours, add frozen salad shrimp 1/2 hour before serving.  Serve over rice with crusty bread.  

Moving Day Chili

1 lb. hamburger browned with onion

Drain

add:

1 can tomato soup

1 can water

1 can beans

1/2 bottle catalina dressing

1 pkg. Chili-O©

2 teaspoons sugar

Ideal cooked and served immediately or simmered in a slow cooker.

I Worked On This All Day Torte

1 Box Craham Crackers Whole

2 big boxes instant chocolate pudding

1 large tub Cool Whip©

1 Hershey© Bar 

Spread cracker with pudding and begin to stack.  When you have a stack approx. 8" high invert on a plate.  Move to the freezer for about 15 min. or until firm.  Frost with Cool Whip © and store covered in the refrigerator.  Just before serving, top with shaved chocolate bar. 

To Serve

Slice at a 45 degree angle to reveal layers.  Especially good using vanilla pudding and strawberry Cool Whip© 

Quick Cookie

2 rolls cookie dough

2 pkg cream cheese (soft)

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

Spread 1 roll dough in pan.

Combine cream cheese, sugar and eggs until well blended.

Spread over dough and slice remaining dough ' place over filling.

Bake in 350º for 45 min.

Harvest Cake

1 angel food cake

1 container vanilla frosting

2 tsp. Cocoa powder

2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1 tsp. Cinnamon

1 can apple pie filling

Mix frosting, cocoa, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Place pie filling in angel food cake center.

Frost w/frosting mixture.

Also yummy with 1 tsp. instant or mocha coffee mixed into frosting.

Shepard Pie

Ground beef and onion browned ' drain.

Place in casserole dish.

Layer on green beans, mixed veggies or corn.

Top with mashed potatoes ' bake in 350º oven for 30 min.

Can also top with shredded cheese for the last 10 minutes of cooking. 

Gotta Take A Cake (Even Easy for the Non-Cook)

Angel food Cake

 ¿ gal. Neapolitan Ice Cream

Cool Whip©

Slice cake in half horizontally.

Scoop out inside of both layers with a spoon making a channel. Fill w/ice cream. Place top back on and frost w/topping. Top with strawberries, chocolate shavings or coconut.

This works with most any ice cream.

Store in the freezer before serving.

Perfect for a barbeque, picnic or suprise the family with a new treat.

Large Vanilla Pudding (do not use instant)

2 1/2 cups milk

Cook Pudding Until Thick

Add 1 box Yellow Cake mix

Pour in baking pan

Sprinkle with Butterscotch morsels

Bake at 350° for 30 minutes
